The site has been created by Filha (Finnish Lung Health Association) and the Organization for Respiratory Health in Finland with the support of Finnish private tuberculosis foundations.
Filha’s predecessor The Finnish Anti-tuberculosis Association was founded in 1907. Since 2003 the association operates under the name Finnish Lung Health Association (Filha). Filha is an expert and training organization in the field of tuberculosis and lung disease and acts as WHO Collaborating Center in prevention, control and treatment of tuberculosis.
The Organization for Respiratory Health in Finland promotes respiratory health and good life for patients with respiratory conditions. It consists of local organizations in different parts of Finland and has patients with respiratory conditions and their near ones as its members. The organization provides also rehabilitation, training and employment services for the people in Finland.
